Microsilica for Gypsum Board
ACC® microsilica mainly used to replace part of vermiculite in Gypsum board application, mainly in fireproof board. The main purpose is to increase the flame retardancy and strength of the fireproof board.

Gypsum board also known as wallboard, has become the most convenient and widely used material for interior wall and ceiling coverings. Gypsum board replaces plaster due to the following reasons.
- No need to stir on site, easy application and arrangement.
- Rapid installation.
- Customizable integration of various components, and provide greater strength, waterproof, and higher fireproof performance.
By adding microsilica, the physical particle filler of gypsum mixture can be optimized and the performance of gypsum board can be improved. Very small silica particles can be quickly and efficiently dispersed into the gypsum board mixture. They surround the gypsum crystals and delay the crystal morphology. It can greatly improve the fire performance and strength of gypsum board.
