Low Cl Content Microsilica
ACC® Microsilica also called silica fume or condensed silica fume. It is produced by a large number of highly volatile SiO₂ and Si gases in the ore thermal furnace. After gas emission, it is rapidly oxidized and condensed into the air. It is a by-product of ferrosilicon or silicon metal smelting, the whole process needs to be recycled with dust removal environmental protection equipment. Because the bulk density is low, it also needs to be densified with densification silo equipment.
※ ACC is able to provide microsilica with very low chlorine content under 0.1% as per costomer’s special request.
